Marie Peters

Marie W. Peters passed and was welcomed into the Light November 11, 2010. She was born in Alton, Ohio May 2, 1915 to Druzella Elizabeth and Saul Wisecup. In her early life, Marie graduated from West High School and Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio followed by an early career as an accountant/bookkeeper. She later was owner and president of Elite Copying and Letter Service and was co-founder and longtime associate of Phoenix Books Ltd. of Columbus. Marie loved books and writing and will be remembered as a supportive mentor and editor to graduate students and authors. In her later years she was widely known as a pillar of strength, love, and wisdom in the metaphysical community and was consulted by many in the Metaphysical Sciences. Marie was a member of various organizations and study groups throughout her life. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, John Wilbur Peters; brothers, James and Arthur; sister, Carol; and son-in-law, Lynn Martin Ward. She is survived by her son, Robert of Columbus; Marilyn of Toledo; grandchildren, Adam Kerri of Columbus, Corey Brenda of Los Angeles, CA; Graham of Victor, Idaho, Preston of Arlington, VA, Taylor of Jersey City, NJ, Seth of Delaware, OH, Justin of Mt. Vernon, OH, and Anna of Columbus, OH; great-grandchildren Brandon, Zoey, and Carter; and many nieces and nephews. Marie
