MARIE A. NOLAN Marie A. Nolan, 86, of Perrysburg, passed away, Saturday, June 4, 2011, at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born in Oak Harbor, Ohio on September 13, 1924 to Max G. and Agnes (Penz) Six and in 1942 she graduated from Notre Dame Academy. Inspired by nature and people, Marie was a gifted artist, whose works are displayed throughout her home. Her painting of the founder of Notre Dame recently graced the walls of her Alma mater. She loved time spent with family and vacations at the summer cottage in Curtis, MI. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and going to casinos. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward J. Nolan whom she married on October 28, 1950 in Toledo along with her son, Edward “Randy” (Sandra) Nolan of Curtice, OH; daughter, Nina (Jim) Cichantek of Canon City, CO; grandchildren, Ashley (Bryan) Clark, Sean and Brittney Nolan, Christopher (Kari) Cichantek and Nicholas Cichantek. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Hilde Trabbic and Emily Peters; and brother, Max Six. Friends will be received after 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at St. Rose Catholic Church where Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 A.M.. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E Front Street, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
