Marie Dawn Louise Foster

Foster Marie Dawn Louise 1945-2009 Marie Foster of Holland, Ohio died on Saturday February 21, 2009. She was born September 14, 1945 in Kingston, Jamaica West Indies where she grew up. Marie was a brilliant student winning one of the most prestigious academic scholarships in Kingston to attend high school. She graduated from the University of the West Indies in 1968 as a registered nurse. Marie married shortly after and migrated to be with her husband in Columbus, Ohio. The union produced one child, Stephanie Antoinette Nicole Foster-Kill. Marie is preceded in death by her parents Lilian and Rudolph Harris. Those she left behind to celebrate her life and memory are her daughter Stephanie; sisters Dasneth Dennis Richardson, Kathi Harris, Daslyn Harris, Icilda Martin and Hazel Pitters; and brother Herman Martin. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Kiki and Jeremy; and precious nieces and nephews Aren, Chane, Deka, Johann and Jerome; with many more loving relatives to reflect on her life and memories. Family and friends may feel free to share reflections at a visitation on Sunday, March 1, 2009 from 3-6 PM at the Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey. Family and friends will then have a final opportunity to reflect on the life and works of our Marie on Monday March 2, 2009 at 11 AM in Third Baptist Church 1402 Pinewood Ave. Toledo, where a service of celebration will follow at 12 Noon.
