Marie C. Collins

Marie C. Collins, 86, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born on November 23, 1932 in Fremont, OH. On April 19, 1952 in Marblehead, OH, she married Calvin B. Collins and he preceded her in death on January 28, 2001. Marie was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Rosanne (Gary) Ziemke, Rita Collins and Sharon (Ken) Traver; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and brother, Edward (Gloria) LaBine. Marie was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Harding, husband, Calvin B. Collins, and sister, Anna Rose Nason. Visitation will be 2-4 6-8pm, Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. A Rosary Service will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father John Misler 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
