Marie A. Ames

Marie Alice Ames age 94 of Perrysburg, OH passed away on Thursday January 6, 2011 at Perrysburg Care and Rehabilitation Center. Marie was born in Luckey, OH on October 19, 1916 to Fred H, and Anna Brueggemier Bursiek. She was employed at Perrysburg High School as a cook for 15 years retiring in 1976. Marie enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting with her friends and playing cards. Her memberships included Zoar Lutheran Church, Perrysburg, its Altar Guild and Women of the Church. She is survived by her children, Carol Dale Bryan, Thomas Connie Ames and Suzanne Jim Zeller; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and sister, Ruth Aring. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Howard J. Ames in 1981. Friends and family may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee on Tuesday January 11, 2011 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am.
