Marianne Knepper

Marianne Knepper (Hansen) age 83 of West Milton, OH, formerly of Sandusky and Port Clinton, passed peacefully at home and walked through The Gates of Splendor May 27, 2020. She was born May 10, 1937, the first of seven children to Peter and Trinke Hansen in Lindholm, Germany. Marianne was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Max A. Knepper, Sr. and sister Gretel Lillie. She will be remembered and missed by her siblings; Trudy Houle, Peter(Georgie) Hansen, Helga (Fred) Pluckhorn, Margaret (Bob) Danklefsen and Fred (Karen) Hansen, children Max "Alan" (Deb) Knepper, Heidi Seeley, Ivy Knepper, Jim (Jennifer) Knepper, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Marianne worked for the Sandusky City Schools for 30 years and retired in 2007. She enjoyed watching the (great) grandchildren grow, play and laugh. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 from 5-8 pm at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at the funeral home at 11 am, with Reverend Dr. James Lehman officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
