Marianne Hollo

Marianne (Strick) Hollo entered into God’s Heavenly Kingdom on Sunday, March 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 2, 1932 to George and Helen Majoros Strick.

Marianne was a past member of Sacred Heart Church where she was an usher and a member of St. Jerome Parish in Walbridge. She was a 1950 graduate of Waite High School and was a Cardinal Stritch Biretta Club Officer for three years and a Democrat Precinct Committee person in Oregon.

Marianne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph; and brothers, George, Robert, James and William Strick.

She is survived by her son, Michael and daughter, Linda Ann Peer; and her beloved granddaughters, Sandra (Nick) Perz of Edgewater, Maryland; and great-grandchildren, Hanna and Brenden Borer and Rose Perz; granddaughter, Megan Peer (Andrew and Kaeden Dartt) of Curtice, Ohio; and her Columbus, Ohio granddaughters, Micaela and Crystal; and great-grandchildren, Kalaya, Aaron and Elana.

At Marianne’s request, there will be no visitation or services.

Special thanks to the loving healthcare angels who took care of her needs at Orchard Villa, St. Charles Hospital, and Hospice of Perrysburg. Their TLC will never be forgotten.

Memorial contributions in Marianne’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Mothers are God’s gift to the World and Marianne was beloved more than we can ever say.
