Marianne Fortress

MARIANNE M. FORTRESS Marianne Fortress, age 67, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital. Marianne was born in Toledo on June 6, 1944 to Harold & Mary (Schultz) Pike. An Adrian H.S. Graduate, Marianne was a homemaker and volunteer, having volunteered at St. Luke’s Hospital and worked at Somerset Church for many years. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her loving husband, Michael; children, Michelle (Bob) Akridge; Mark S. (Cindy) Fortress; Michael Brian (MiChelle) Fortress; grandchildren, Christopher; Alexander; Elena; Joshua; BrookLynn; aunt, Helen Schultz; cousins Gordan (Jan); Steve (Kathy) and Karen (John), and many special friends. Friends and family will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday where funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday May 15, 2012.
