Marian A. Thompson

Marian A. Staler Thompson, 91, of Toledo passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 25, 1917 in Toledo to William F. and Lillian A. Moebius Staler. Marian was a 1934 graduate of DeVilbiss High School and worked as a Clerk for the former AP Parts for 10 years, retiring in 1970. She was also a member of Hampton Park Christian Church. Marian is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Boyd Thompson; nieces and nephews, Susan Jones of Reston, VA, Bill Staler of Columbus, OH, Bob Etnyre of Houston, TX and Mary Watts of Austin, TX. In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her sister, Margery Etnyre and brother, William Staler. Family and friends may visit Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 501 Conant Street, Maumee followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
