Marian Blossom Stacey

MARIAN B. STACEY Marian Stacey, age 90, of Toledo passed away on April 13, 2013 at the Health Central Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Her son Rex was with her at the time of her death. Marian was born in Toledo on February 18, 1923 to Paul & Marian (Birch) Vnuck. She met and married the love of her life, Richard Stacey in 1941 and he preceded her in death in December, 1988. Marian was a hair stylist working until the age of 88 when she retired. A member of the Living Faith United Methodist Church in Holland, she spent the last 15 years traveling between Toledo and Florida, spending 3 months in Toledo and 9 months in Florida with her son, Rex. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, going to the beach, visiting family and participating in the various activities at the local High School at which her son teaches. She was an avid music lover and was an exceptionally wonderful singer. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Rex Stacey; granddaughter, Kate and many nieces & nephews in Ohio, Florida and North Carolina. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Bob, Peewee, Clara, Jessie, Sweetie, and Angie. Friends and family will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 5-8 pm Thursday April 18, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 am at the Living Faith United Methodist Church, 1240 Columbus Ave., Holland, Ohio on Friday April 19, 2013 with Pastor Amy Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
