Marian A. Sisi

Marian A. Sisi, 89, of Catawba Island, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Orchard Villa Nursing Home, Oregon, OH, surrounded by her family. Marian was born on November 4, 1920 in Cleveland, OH to Otis and Margaret Streeter. On July 2, 1962 she married Tony Sisi and he preceded her in death in January 1995. She was a graduate of Clyde High School. Marian worked as a bookkeeper at Home Sand and Coal and also at Camp Perry for many years. She was the co-owner of the former Edgars Night Club on Sand Road. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #1610, Elks Lodge # 1718, and former member of the Catawba Island Club. Marian was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. Surviving family includes, children, Carol Jespersen of Ann Arbor, MI, Patrick Charleen Sisi of Walbridge, OH and Kathy Doug Sisi of Port Clinton. Marian was also survived by many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, James A. House, husband, Tony, sister, Dolores Zwir and brother-in-law, Walter Zwir. Visitation will be held from 2-8PM, Tuesday, September 21, 2010 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father John Missler at 10AM, Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with family prayers beginning at 9:30AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church or to Odyssey Hospice.
