Maria A. Vallestero

Maria A. Vallestero, age 78 of Toledo, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Crystal City, TX on February 23, 1943. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she also loved taking care of her rose bushes, crocheting, listening to her music and watching her Mexican soap operas. Maria was preceded in death by her father, Clemente Amaya; mother, Santos Calderon; husband, Felix T. Vallestero, Sr.; son, George Vallestero; and several extended family members. She is survived by her daughters, Maria L. Vallestero and Rusty Vallestero; sons, Felix (Trisha) Vallestero, Ricky (Tina) Vallestero; and Ezequiel Vallestero; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Esther (Eduardo) Rodriguez, Josie Lester, Clemente (Connie) Amaya, Gilbert Amaya, Larry (Sue) Amaya and Jesus (Margret) Amaya; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm with services following at 5:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
