Maria L. Quinonez

Quinonez Maria L. Maria L. Quinonez, age 75, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. She was born November 23, 1934 in Somerset, TX to Larry and Juanita Quinonez. Maria was a graduate of Burnham High School in Sylvania, OH. A skilled needle worker and gardener, she was a former officer of the United Latinas Club. Maria was also an excellent cook who loved to dance, play cards, and spend time with her friends and family. Maria is survived by her children, LaVaida Rocha of Austin, MN and Mark Jennifer Lesinski of Sylvania, OH; brothers, Edward Quinonez and Jerry Julie Quinonez; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Mike Lesinski and Mel Lesinski, Jr. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Palliative Unit at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Family will receive friends on Saturday at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 728 S. St. Clair St. Toledo, OH 43609 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with a Rosary at 11:00 AM followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:30 AM. Arrangements by the Walker Funeral Home 419-841-2422.
