Marguerite Salpietro

Marguerite “Margie” Salpietro, 88, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at St. Clare Commons. Margie was a devoted homemaker and cook, her Sunday dinners were a family favorite. She was also a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Parish. Margie was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 52 years, Benjamin; daughter, Linda; and her siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Suzanne (Larry) Davenport, Brenda (Jim) Dubilzig, Tina (John) Thielen, Ben (Gina) Salpietro; grandchildren, Brandon, Adam, Lauren, Daniel, Allie, Carly, Lena, and Ben. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, OH. On Saturday, January 23, 2016 Margie will lie in state at Epiphany of the Lord Parish at Sacred Heart from 10:30 am until the start of mass at 11:00 am. Private interment will take place at St. Ignatius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial Contributions in Margie’s name can be made to the charity of your choice.
