Marguerite L. Dohy

Marguerite L. Dohy, 86, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, Ohio. She was born February 12, 1924, in Oak Harbor, Ohio, to Charles and Alpha Kahlert Brindley. On August 2, 1958, in Lacarne, Ohio, she married Alexander A. Dohy, who preceded her in death. Marguerite worked for the Erie Army Depot for 18 years and also as a purchasing agent for Uniroyal in Port Clinton for 20 years. She enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing cards, and spending time in their pool. Marguerite is survived by her step son, Larry C. Cherie Dohy of North Carolina and grandchildren, Brandon and Aaron Dohy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Louis and Leland Brindley, and sister, Claire Belle Steinmiller. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory in Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
