Margo Dee Makras

Margo Dee Makras, age 67, of Sylvania, died November 6, 2022, at Flower Hospital. She was born March 8, 1955, in Toledo to the late Frank and Shirley (Williams) Sylak and graduated from Libby High School. Margo stayed home and cared for her family for many years and later worked as a teacher’s aide at McCord Junior High in Sylvania for over 10 years. In addition to time with her family, Margo also loved being with her Great Dane, Bella. She will also be lovingly remembered for her kind heart and generous nature.

Surviving is her beloved husband, whom she married on November 7, 1975, Peter G. Makras; children, Marcus (Elizabeth), Lindsey, and Ashley Makras; grandsons, Peter John “P.J.” and Thomas Louis “Tommy” Makras; and sister, Candace (Raymond) Magrum.

Services will be private. Margo will be laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Park.
