Margie Lou Wolf, 83, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away, Friday, January 21, 2011, at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born July 15, 1927, in Oak Harbor, the daughter of Albert and Esther Wistinghausen Stamm. On August 27, 1949, she married Robert H. Wolf and he preceded her in death November 2, 1971. Margie worked as a secretary and did the payroll for the Social Security Administration office for 28 years retiring in June 1993. She also previously worked at the Erie Army Depot. Margie was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. She was a member of the Fremont Chapter 133 of the Eastern Stars, a member of the Epsilon Eta Chapter of Sigma Sorority, a life member of the Riverview Auxiliary and a past membership chairman, treasurer and life member of the V.F.W. Post #8732 Auxiliary, and a 30-year member of the National Association of Federal Employees. She loved to play cards and Bunco and was a member of two card clubs and two Bunco clubs. Margie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, LuAnn Jude Monak of Oak Harbor; nieces, Pamela Eric Rickel of Norwalk and Linde Wolf of Port Clinton; great niece, Stephanie Rickel; faithful companion, Abbey; dear family friend and caretaker, Char Metcalf; and three cousins, Robert Ann Green, Frank Deanna Gluth and Nancy Jim Wisler. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Shirley Jean Stamm. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2011, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Oak Harbor, where the family will be present from 2-4 6-8 p.m. Special services will be as follows: the Sorority service at 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon in the funeral home; Eastern Stars service at 7 p.m. and the V.F.W. service at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2011, in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, with Pastors Keith Hunsinger and David Tinker officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Contributions in memory of Margie may be given to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Riverview Healthcare Campus or Stein Hospice.
