Marge Foster

Marge Foster, 89, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away peacefully, after struggling with Alzheimers, Friday, August 31, 2012 at her daughters residence in Columbus, OH. She was born on March 31, 1923 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of John N. and Jennie Bahnsen Nicholson. On August 09, 1947 in Port Clinton, OH, she married William C. Foster and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1998. Marge worked as an Avon sales representative. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Marge enjoyed bowling, the beach and playing bingo. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include: Daughters: Bonnie Michael Gahn of Worthington, OH, Jari Ann Randy Schaeffer of Milan, OH and Jennifer Tim Ortman of Columbus, OH; 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren. Marge was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister: Carol Jean Lang. Visitation will be 9-10AM, Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, with family prayers offered at 10:00AM. The Mass of Christian burial will be conducted by Father John Missler at 10:30AM, Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Marge can be given to the Alzheimers Association.
