Marge Ann Broadway, 81, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her loving family at The Franciscan Care Center. She was born May 23, 1928, in Toledo to Harry and Anna Savage. Marge attended St. Charles grade school and was a 1946 graduate from Libbey High School, where she met her lifelong sweetheart and dance partner. Noah. The couple married on June 6, 1948. Marge was employed by IBM where she was first introduced to the new technology of computers. She also did professional retouching for Powell Photography Studios, then spend many years selling real estate for DiSalle Realty in northwest Ohio. Finally Marge worked as a supervisor for Lott Industries up until 1990 when she retired. Marge provided unconditional love for her great joy - her family. She shared her life caring for her husband, Noah; six children; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Together Marge and Noah spent many of their winters entertaining their family and friends at their second home in Bradenton, Florida. They also traveled to Europe and Africa during their many adventures. Marge enjoyed quilt-making, rug-hooking, baking, bingo, poker, sweets and a good cup of coffee. She volunteered as a Boy Scout leader, PTA member and homework helper for her grateful children. She was the heart and soul of her adoring family and served as a wonderful role model to all of them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her and remembered for her wisdom and comical sense of humor. Marge was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mame Lewinski and brother, James Savage. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Noah Broadway; daughters, Charmaine McClellan, Tara Scott Hall, Debbie Duane Hammett, Kelly Scott Broadway-Houk; sons, Noah Pamela Broadway and Matthew Broadway; grandchildren, Joshua, Jason, Chelsea, Justin, Austin, Elizabeth, Abby, Jillian, Noah, Nicole, Jessica, Ryan; great - grandchildren, Maxwell, Cade, Avery, Emerson, Zachary, Kate, Ava, Luke; sister, Betty Flynn and brother, Harry Savage. Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where services will be private.
