Margaret Jane Zollars

Margaret Jane Zollars, 84, of Perrysburg, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Margaret was born in Perrysburg, Ohio on October 21, 1932 to Karl and Florence (Alwood) Keivel. Margaret lived most of her life in Perrysburg and graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1951. She owned a children’s clothing store until she married the love of her life, Thomas Zollars, on December 30, 1955. Margaret and her husband owned Zollars Jean Shop from 1976-1984. She loved working in the jean shop and getting to know her customers. She enjoyed family trips to Siesta Key beach and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Margaret was loved and will be greatly missed by her children, Jeff (Julie) Zollars, David (Judy) Zollars, Amy (David) Lamberger. Her grandchildren, Justin Zollars, Matt (Carly) Zollars, Tyler (Lisa) Zollars, Lindsay (Chris) Wagner, Zachary Zollars, Kyle Zollars, Bailey Zollars, and Jack Lamberger were the pride and joy of her life. She was greatly blessed with three great granddaughters; Makenna and Sydney Wagner, and Alivia Zollars; and will be missed by many loving nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother Al Keivel and sisters-in-law; Patricia Zollars and Sherry Seiler. Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband; parents; mother and father-in-law, Alvin and Constance Zollars; brother, Robert (Helen) Keivel; sisters, Dorothy (Earl) Mann, Edna (Don) Benson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alvin Zollars, Richard Zollars, Angeline Keivel, Barbara Arner; nephews, Doug Heuer, Bill Keivel; and very special uncle, Ed Alwood. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery with Fr. Mike Floyd officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551, or to Perrysburg Christians United Food Bank, 601 E Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Toledo Hospital, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, and Dr. Robert Donawa and his staff, especially Tammy.
