Margaret Ann Ziehr

Margaret Ann Ziehr, 81 of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 03, 2011 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was born on January 21, 1929 in Toledo, Ohio to Leonard and Edith Pipkin Ziehr. She was employed at the former LaSalles and Cook Department Store and once was a telephone operator in Lebanon, Ohio. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family and her extended family. She was an avid Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings fan. She enjoyed puzzles and instant lottery tickets. She is survived by her loving husband Robert; daughter, Debbie Ziehr and son, Mark Ziehr; sister, Dorothy Gillen and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Donald and Robert Swartz. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 3-8 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant, Maumee. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Little Flower Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
