Margaret Elizabeth Zeisloft

Margaret E. Zeisloft age 95 of Maumee passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 in the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born January 31, 1921 in Maumee to William and Margaret (Schings) Caseman. She married the love of her life, Robert L. Zeisloft on April 14, 1943. She was a long-time active member of St. Josephs Church, Maumee and participated in the Ladies Altar and Rosary Society and prayer service and luncheon committees. Margaret was also a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Leipsic Council #6. She enjoyed playing pinochle with the Beyond the Grief group. The widow of Robert L. Zeisloft, she was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter Patricia; son-in-law Wayne Jones; daughter-in-law Kathleen Zeisloft; granddaughter Jennifer Zeisloft; brother Bernard Caseman; and sister Irene Rader. She is survived by her children Robert E. (Mary Jo) Zeisloft, David L. Zeisloft and Mary Ann Jones; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee on Wednesday from 3-8 PM with a Scripture Service at 7 PM. Funeral services will begin Thursday at 10 AM in the funeral home followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 AM in St. Josephs Church, Maumee. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Margarets family thanks Hospice for their extraordinary care, both at home and their facilities during the past months.
