Margaret Ann Wolfram

April 25, 1927 — January 19, 2015

Margaret Ann Wolfram Marge age 87 of Monclova passed away Monday January 19, 2015 at the Elizabeth Scott Community. Margaret was born April 25, 1927 in Birmingham, Alabama to Lawrence and Josephine Wood. They moved to Toledo when she was 12 years old. Margaret married Lawrence P. Wolfram Sr. in Gulf Port, Mississippi on June 10,1944; as Lawrence was stationed there during WWII. They made their home in Monclova, Ohio where they raised five children. Margaret was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She especially loved to bake and all who knew her enjoyed her wonderful desserts. Margaret also loved playing cards and enjoyed all of her many friends she made while living in Monclova. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Maumee, the Monclova Home Extension, and the Maumee Mini Club. She enjoyed all of her friends at the Monclova Senior Center and missed them terribly when she was no longer able to join them for activities and luncheons. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry of 56 years, her brother Lawrence E. Wood, her sister Mary Sperry, and nephew Edward Sperry. Surviving are her children Shirley (Albert) Lisenbee, Toledo, Larry Jr. (Sandi) Wolfram Celina, OH; Kathy (David) Lake Celina, OH; Thomas (Tina) Wolfram Waterville, OH; Timothy (Barbara) Wolfram Deshler, OH. Her in-laws, Carol (Mike) Fusco (Monclova)  and Ruth Wolfram (Toledo). Also surviving are her beloved cousins Betty Fowler and James Wood. She also is survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren , and  many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home,  501 Conant St. Maumee from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening. Prayers will begin at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 with a Funeral Mass to be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church Maumee, Ohio with internment immediately following at Roth Cemetery, Monclova OH. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Elizabeth Scott Community for the excellent support and care for Margaret. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Monclova Community Center, St. Joseph Catholic Church Maumee or charity of the donors choosing.
