Margaret Lamb Stout, 42 of Perrysburg passed away Sunday, September 11, 2001. She was best known to friends and family as Lambie. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 7, 1969 to Robert and Priscilla Guyton. She was a graduate of Maumee Valley Country Day School and Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. After graduation, she returned to Northwest Ohio to work for Westhaven and was later the Director of Major Gifts for The United Way of Greater Toledo. Lambie married Michael Stout in 2002 and their daughter Elizabeth was born in 2004. Lambie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. After her diagnosis she left work to spend more time with her family. During her six year battle with cancer Lambie started her own business called Comfort Crunch. She made gourmet trail mix that was inspired by a family recipe. During chemotherapy, the trail mix was often the only thing she could eat, which inspired her to share it with others. Comfort Crunch is sold all over the world and it was featured on The Today Show. In keeping with her generous spirit a portion of the proceeds are donated to cancer research projects. During her lifetime Lambie was a member of the Board of Directors for a number of charitable organizations including the Toledo chapter of The Susan G. Komen Foundation and The Victory Center. She was a member of the Colonial Dames of America and a former member of The Junior League of Toledo. She was a former member of The Vestry at St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Maumee where she organized several community outreach programs to help those in need. She was a kind, thoughtful and energetic person who always worked hard to help others. Her smile and unending enthusiasm brightened countless lives. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Thomas Guyton; her grandparents, Edward and Prudence Lamb, Robert and Margaret Guyton. She is survived by her husband Michael Stout; her daughter Elizabeth Stout; her mother Priscilla Schwier; stepfather Frederick Schwier; brother Robert Chip Guyton and sister Lissa Guyton. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 16, 2011 at 11am at St. Pauls Episcopal Church at 310 Elizabeth Street, Maumee. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pauls Episcopal Church outreach programs, any cancer research program or the charity of the donors choice. Arrangements are being made by Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home in Maumee.
