Margaret Anne Stevens

Margaret Anne Stevens, age 94, passed away Tuesday April 19, 2017 at Kingston of Sylvania. The daughter of William and Emma (Steenken) Feldtman, she was born June 8, 1922 in Oldenburg, Germany. Margaret and her family immigrated here when she was 18 months old. She was a graduate of Waite High School and attended business college. She worked at the War Production Board and after her children were grown, worked at the Libraries at Coy and Wynn Elementary in Oregon. Margaret was a longtime member of Faith United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling and attending antique shows with her husband Dick. Together over the years, they acquired a fine collection of Heisey glass. Margaret also collected thimbles, enjoyed reading, as well as arts and needlecraft. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Bischoff and Barbara (Mike) Ulrich; grandchildren, Gerry (Mike), Geoff, Katie (Tommy); great grandchildren, Zachary, Brianna and Tommy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents and brother, Bill. Services will be private. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kim, Rachel, and Tamika, staff at Hickman Cancer Center, Toledo Clinic Cancer Center on Holland-Sylvania and the staff at Kingston of Sylvania for all their wonderful care and support.
