Margaret was called home on Thursday, October 25, 2007. She was 84 years old. Margaret Ann was born on December 16, 1922 to James and Ella Kitzmiller in Alma, Michigan. Her family moved to Toledo soon after her birth. Margaret graduated from Libby High School and the University of Toledo. She married our father John Francis Schoen on June 17, 1944 and they had 10 children. Margaret was a passionate traveler and loved exploring other lands and cultures. On several occasions she had packed us up and we traveled with her, seeing the sites through her enthusiastic eyes. She danced at our weddings and celebrated the birth of each grandchild. She often shared how blessed she was to be able to hold each of her grandchildren. She embraced our joys and shouldered our hurts and trials with grace and strength. She prized having her family get together and laugh, sharing stories of growing up in a big family. And she never forgot a birthday. We will cherish the memories of the many lunches with Mom and Grandma. But perhaps what we will remember the most about our mother was her steadfast love for Jesus and the unabashed way she shared her faith and personal relationship with Christ, a gift we will treasure and be continuously grateful for. She is survived by her children, Howard Gayle, Mike Patti, Ted Debbie, Pat Pam, Peg Tim Gruber, Cathy Tim Aldrich, Mary Schoen, Judy Frank Thomas, Marty Tim Grohnke, 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John F. Schoen, son John Jr., brother James Blaine Kitzmiller Jr., parents James and Ella Kitzmiller, and granddaughter April. Memorial Service will be held at the Westgate Chapel, 2500 Wilford, on Saturday at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Walker Funeral Home. Mom, we know you were ecstatic to lay your crown at His feet and to hear the words,
