Margaret Schneider

September 2, 1916 — August 20, 2012

Margaret Schneider, 95, passed away Monday at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, just 13 days before her ninety-sixth birthday. She was a pioneer resident of Swan Creek Retirement Village and a long-time member of Calvary Assembly of God Church on Glendale. Margaret, a 1934 graduate of Devilbiss High School, worked as a secretary for many years finishing her last ten years of employment at the University of Toledo Law School. She was active in numerous civic organizations including Compass Club and was known for her sense of humor and humanity. She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin, son Gary, and parents Arthur and Elsie Barker. She is survived by cousins Judith James Bucher and Dr. Kyle Bucher of Monclova, 0.; Kevin Jennifer Bucher and sons Jared, John, Jack, and Joe of Sylvania, 0.; Ruth Dr. John Pecsok of Whitehouse, 0.; Miriam Mike Black, Lilly and Will of Whitehouse, 0.; Dr. Will Amy Pecsok, Joe and Luke of Whitehouse, 0.; and June Jim Yantiss of Sylvania, O. Visitation will be on Saturday August 25, 2012 from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee, Ohio with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park, Toledo, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be given to Calvary Assembly of God or to the Donors Choice.
