Margaret Pilaczynski

Margaret Elizabeth “Peggy” Pilaczynski, 84, of Monclova, OH, passed away on February 13, 2025. Peggy was born on September 26, 1940, in Toledo, OH, to Arthur and Mary Pauline (Boucher) McCormick. She graduated from Central Catholic High School and was employed with Northstar Plumbing, Northwest Pools, and Nick’s Café for 25 years.

Peggy was a social butterfly who never met a stranger. She cherished campfires and Manhattan cocktails and enjoyed spending time with friends at the Eagles in Maumee and the Legion in Whitehouse. Known for her loving, kind, and outgoing nature, Peggy lived for her family and was always willing to help others. Her family will deeply miss her devotion, generosity, and spontaneity.

Peggy is survived by her sons, Thomas (Bonnie) Pilaczynski, James (Kimberly) Pilaczynski, and Michael Pilaczynski; her daughter, Angela (Jeff) Blackburn; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm, at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH 43537. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 21, at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
