Margaret Ann Nero

Margaret A. Nero, 77, of Clay Center, Ohio died Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Heartland of Oregon Nursing Home, Oregon, Ohio. Margaret was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 19, 1940 to Mike and Ethel (Angyan) Nero, who both preceded her in death. Margaret had worked for the former GTE telephone company as a long distance operator and later as a PBX operator for the Toledo Museum of Art where she was awarded Employee of the Year award and was known as the voice of the museum.. She enjoyed reading and watching old movies and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in Genoa. She was also a graduate of Genoa High School Class of 1958. Margaret is survived by her sister, Rita Dipman and nieces, Dana (Rob) Kirk and Angelique Dipman, great nieces, Bailey & Chloe and great nephew Chase. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017, in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 204 S. Main Street, Genoa, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the church from 9 until the time of Mass. The family invites those attending the Mass to join them immediately following for a time of fellowship and light meal in the church hall. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
