Margaret M. Moulton

Margaret M. “Maggi” Moulton, age 89, of Toledo, died August 14, 2021, at her home with loving family by her side. She was born September 20, 1931, in Toledo to the late Noal and Berniece (Reau) Burgoon. Gramma Maggi as she was lovingly known, was the family matriarch, extremely loving, thoughtful & generous, often giving more than she had. She enjoyed hosting family events, particularly Christmas where she used her talent creating Silly Santa gifts, each specially made for every family member. Maggi had a unique sense of humor, often unleashing what the family called “Maggi-isms”. She had a way of making anyone that walked though her door feel comfortable and welcomed. She enjoyed sweets; especially peppermint patties, donuts, and ice cream… and sharing by way of her famous “Mag Bag”. Maggi’s greatest joy was family - bragging about them, doing whatever she could for them, and being a devoted & proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Steve (Mary) Moulton, Pam (Donnie) Henderson and Todd (Karen) Moulton; grandchildren, Josh (Angie), Jenna (Justin), Boomer (Jillian), Kevin, Jacob, and Gracie; great grandchildren, Addie, Connor, Easton, Travis, and Baby “M”; sister-in-law, Patty Perez; and Maggi’s beloved dog, Oscar. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Darrell; son, Scott; and brothers, Joseph, Don and Bob. Family and friends are invited to visit from 6-8 pm on Friday August 20th and Saturday at 10:00 am; followed by a celebration of Maggi’s amazing life at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 21, 2021 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) Committal will immediately follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
