Margaret G. Mcdevitt

Margaret G. Peggy McDevitt, age 62, of Maumee, OH passed away Wednesday, December 01, 2010 in St. Lukes Hospital. She was born January 6, 1948 in Toledo to Floyd and Lavinna McCool Hanna. Peggy was employed as an administrative assistant for Seaway Foodtown and Biofit for 14 years, and also worked part time as a clerk at Paukens Wine Store in Maumee. A huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Peggy was a longtime member of the Maumee Elks and Maumee Eagles over 30 years, most recently transferring to the Rossford Eagles. Peggys greatest love in life was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Peggy is survived by her husband of 14 years, David McDevitt; son, Douglas Karen Kinder; step-daughter, Stacey McDevitt; grandsons, Zachary and Jacob Kinder, Justin Madrid and Thomas Aukland; brother, Richard Lois Hanna; niece, Lynn Hanna and nephew, Richard Hanna, Jr.. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Hanna. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the ICU staff at St. Lukes Hospital for their loving and compassionate care of Peggy. There will be no visitation or services.
