Margaret Ellen Mcbride

Margaret Ellen McBride, age 96, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010 in the Grand Rapids Care Center. She was born May 16, 1914 to Ulrich and Mary Koenigseker Steiner. Margaret enjoyed quilting, cooking and sewing. The widow of James McBride whom she was married for 62 years, Margaret is survived by her son, Joseph Jane McBride of Grand Rapids, OH; daughters, Catherine James Nickelsen of Lenexa, KS and Jean McBride of Waynesboro, PA; grandchildren, Michael Mary McBride, Debra Steve Russell, Tamra Jason Palmer, James Tamara Nickelsen, Pamela Mark Williamson and Joel LeAnn Nickelsen; great grandchildren, Patrick McBride, Stephanie, Nicole and Courtney Russell, Amber and Camron Palmer, Trey, Nickels and Anna Nickelsen, Byron and Austin Williamson and Aubrey and Keaton Nickelsen. In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her brother and 2 sisters. Family and friends may visit Monday, August 9, 2010 from 2-9 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 10:00 am.
