Margaret C. Loyd

Surrounded by her loving family and close friends, Maggie sadly passed away on Monday, May 8th, 2017. Maggie was born in Toledo on November 17th, 1976 to Bonnie Loyd and the late Christopher Loyd. She was a lifelong resident of Ottawa Hills. While a student at O.H.H.S., she was active in field hockey, track and choir. Maggie loved her time with friends, both at home and in Bay View, MI. She would visit for as many summers and winters as she could, which was almost every year of her life. Maggies compassion and nurturing love of all walks of life naturally led her to the field of nursing. She was a Registered Nurse at St. Annes Hospital, eventually becoming a charge nurse for patients in critical condition. Maggie married her best friend, Patrick Isabell, in February of 2002. From this union, they had a son, Hayden, who was the light of her world. She always showered him with unconditional love and support. In addition to Patrick and Hayden, she is survived by her mother, Bonnie Loyd of Ottawa Hills; her two brothers and a sister, Aaron (Sharda) Loyd of North Ridgeville, OH; Andrew (Meredith) Loyd of Huntersville, NC and Christine (Samantha) Loyd of Birmingham, AL and also her sizable extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends. A celebration of Maggies life will be held on Monday, May 15th, 2017 at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. in Toledo. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a remembrance service at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Haydens education fund in care of Fifth-Third Bank.
