Margaret Peg Lerch, 78, of Waterville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday April 3, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 3, 1934 in Elyria, OH to Max and Mary Moore. Throughout her career Peg worked as an artist for State Aerial Farm Statistics in Toledo, the Village of Whitehouse, and Maisi in Bowling Green. She loved creating art through her painting. She devoted much of her time to flower gardening, and watching the television series Bones. Most of all, Peg loved spending time with her grandchildren. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Peg will be remembered for her understanding, compassion and unbreakable spirit. Peg is survived by her son, LarryKristi Lerch, daughter, Laura Jim Cole, daughter, Lisa Edelbrock, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother, Edward Penny Moore, and sister, Patricia Lester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy, son, Ronald, daughter, Susan, sisters, Mary Ann Loomis and Sally Widmer, and brothers, Phillip and Thomas Moore. Family and friends may visit on Sunday April 7, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537. Funeral services will be on Monday April 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 North River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 or St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
