Margaret R. Latta

Margaret R. Latta, age 74, of Toledo, Ohio died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Toledo Hospital. She was born July 19, 1939 to Ernest and LuLu (Cairl) Geithmann and on April 19, 1958 she married Gordon Latta. Margaret was employed over 25 years at Raceway Park as a Waitress and Cashier. She also taught Ceramics at the Mayores Senior Center. She was a member of McCord Road Christian Church, an avid Detroit Tigers fan, former Boy Scout Den Mother and volunteer at Newbury Elementary. She is survived by her husband, Gordon Latta; sons, Ray Latta, Brian (Lynn) Latta, Paul Latta and Gordon (Lisa Jones) Latta; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren as well as her brothers, Arthur and Rick (Lisa) Geithmann. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and LuLu Geithmann; granddaughter, Brandy Rodriquez and brother, Ernest Geithmann. Friends will be received on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 2 to 9 p.m. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879). Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at McCord Road Christian Church, 4765 N. McCord Road in Sylvania. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
