Margaret Large

Margaret Helen Large (Patrick), 90, of Oregon, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 25, 1932 to Joseph Preston and Nina Ruth (Pippin) Patrick. She married Robert Marvin Large on December 24, 1949 and they spent 62 wonderful years together.

Margaret was born in Nickelsville, Virginia, she lived in Texas, Tennessee and Maryland. After her retirement from Black & Decker in Maryland, she moved to Randleman, North Carolina. In 2008 she moved to Oregon, Ohio to be closer to family. She was a former member of Mendota Baptist Church in Virginia.  Margaret will be remembered for her wonderful southern style cooking, for her sweet and caring nature, love of her family, friends and her pets, Marley and Bella.

Margaret is survived by her loving children, Mary E. Barry-Hart (Don), Robert Michael Large (Suzy), Nina Joyce Tilton (Ron), Kathy Marie Wilkerson, and Linda Diane Culp (Thom); 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and half-brother, Robert Patrick. In addition to her parents and her husband she is preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother. Her final comfort care was provided by Kind Hearts Hospice.

Graveside services will take place August 5, 2022 at 2 P.M. at Restlawn Memorial Park, 3665 Genoa Rd., Perrysburg, Ohio. Online condolences may be shared at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
