Margaret A. Langston, 89, of Woodville, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Genoa Retirement Center. She was born in Painesville, Ohio at Lake Township Hospital to Frank & Germaine (Chevrette) Rippin on March 29, 1935. She attended Woodward High School and married Clarence Langston on March 8, 1954. She worked many jobs over the years and retired from the Welfare Department in 1997. Margaret loved cooking for her family, taking care of her grandchildren, taking road trips and picnics in the parks.
Margaret leaves behind her children Michael Langston and Debra (Terry) Allgire; her grandchildren, Nicole (Jon) Bennett, Amanda (Greg) Tester, Michelle (Mike) Scheidly, Deanna (Bob) Suhay, Evan (Haley) Prielipp, Justin (Alaura) Allgire and Jessica Allgire; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and her sister, Carol Asher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; her parents; her daughter, Linda Mayer; and her daughter-in-law, Jenny Langston.
Family and friends may visit the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West Street, Genoa on Friday, April 12, 2024 with funeral services starting at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services, beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Margarets' name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
