Margaret Elizabeth Herbert

Margaret Elizabeth Herbert, age 103, of Swan Creek Retirement Village and formerly of Maumee, Ohio, died on Thursday, March 31, 2016. She was born on her family farm in Mt. Cory on March 23, 1913 to Arlo and Bertha (Fellabaum) Doty. Margaret attended Bowling Green State University and taught elementary school at Mt. Cory in Hancock county and at Glendale School in Toledo. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (George) Hover; son, Robert (Pamela) Herbert; ten grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Gale and brother, Everett Doty. A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the Maumee United Methodist Church, 405 Sackett Street, Maumee. Entombment at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
