Margaret A. Harestad

“The phone rang one last time, it was Aunt Peggy and she was calling from Heaven.” Margaret “Peggy” took her last breath on Tuesday, July 29, surrounded by family, she was 77 years old. She is survived by brothers, William (Carol) Crozier and Merritt (Jane) Rensch, sister-in-law Maebelle Crozier, and Uncle Jim (Joanne) Oman and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Dorothy Crozier and Bernadine Rensch, brothers, David and Herbert “Larry” Crozier, niece, Laurie Crozier and beloved great nephew, Patrick “Little Man”. She was a dedicated Blade carrier and an avid Bingo player for many, many years. Peggy was known for her wit and humor and an ability to remember all numbers, events and dates, especially your age and rank on the family tree. She will be sorely missed by all, especially her best friend, Phyllis Rhoton. Thank you to Heartland of Perrysburg for making Aunt Peggy feel at home for over 4 years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133)
