Margaret E. Desmond

Margaret Elaine (Mills) Desmond was 71 years old when she was called to meet her maker on November 3, 2025, after an over three-year illness.

Marge was born to Robert and Margaret (Brown) Mills on March 11, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio. She attended Bedford Public Schools and graduated from Bedford High School in 1972. Marge took many continuing education classes at the University of Toledo and Penta County to keep up with a changing world.

She worked in a few smaller jobs in her early years, until Toledo Hospital offered her a 9-year opportunity. She took a few months off before beginning her 30-year employment at UTMCO, where she retired in 2017.

Marge is survived by her husband, Terrence J. Desmond; her step-son, Terry J. (Meggan) Desmond; step-grandsons, Terry and Casey Desmond; sister-in-law, Anita (Dan) McKenzie; brothers, Bob (Sandra) Mills, Jerry (Mona) Mills; nieces and nephews, Wayne, Margaret, Lynn, Dana, Derek, David Jr., Kelly and Jamie, Jessie and Justin McKenzie; and many, many grand-nieces and nephews, and best friend, Randy E. Myers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret Mills; stepfather, James Stowell, and brother, David Mills.

There will be a memorial service held for her at a later date when all the remaining family can be gathered together.
