Margaret Peggy Deleon

Margaret Peggy DeLeon, 71, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH, after a courageous struggle, surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born on July 03, 1942 in Marblehead, OH, the daughter of Morris Lee and Marjorie Baker Smith. On December 30, 2003 in Port Clinton, OH, she married Erasmo DeLeon and he preceded her in death on January 20, 2013. She enjoyed bingo, camping and fishing. Peggy will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughters: Tammy Robinson and Theresa Edward Spitler; Sons: Timothy Jacqueline Gonzalez and Thomas Christy Gonzalez; Step-Children: Eddie Belia DeLeon, Javier Joyce DeLeon and Melissa Mark French; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews; Sister: Mary Jose Andeverde. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Dave & Lee Smith; sisters: Marjorie, Diane & Rosie. Visitation will be from 4-8pm, Monday, March 24, 2014, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Peggy may be given to Heartland Hospice or the Port Clinton Lions Club.
