Margaret Peggy Bredbeck

Peggy Bredbeck, 64, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, December 21, 2012 at H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. Peggy was born on July 26, 1948 in Euclid, OH, the daughter of Marie Wrentmore Martin V. Frye. On July 10, 1971 in Euclid, OH, she married John D. Bredbeck and he survives. Peggy was a fourth grade teacher at Jefferson Elementary Schools. She was active in the Port Clinton School District for more than 30 years having served as a teacher and on the school board. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, friends and students. Survivors include: Husband of 42 years: John D. Bredbeck of Port Clinton; Daughter: Gretchen Bredbeck of Minneapolis, MN; Sons: Todd Katie Bredbeck of Houston, TX and Jeff Bredbeck of Columbus, OH; Grandchildren: Oliver, Jonah, Eleanor Brother: Tom Barb Frye of San Antonio, TX; Brother-in-law: Lee Natalie Bredbeck. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.. Visitation will be 2-4 6-8pm, Wednesday, December 26, at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton, OH, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11am, Thursday, December 27, 2012. Memorial donations in memory of Peggy may be given to the Port Clinton City Schools Scholarship Fund.
