Margaret "Peggy" Bicanovsky

November 4, 1936 — February 23, 2022

Margaret A. “Peggy” Bicanovsky, age 85, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on February 23, 2022.  Peggy was born on November 4, 1936, the daughter of Joseph A. and Tillie H. (Michalak) Tucholski. Peggy was a 1954 graduate of Central Catholic High School and previously worked as a secretary for Gulf Oil. She married Carl S. Bicanovsky on June 2, 1961, and he preceded her in death. She was a long-time member of the St. Jude Catholic Church and St. Hyacinth’s, and she always carried a strong catholic faith with her.

When Peggy wasn’t working, she was an avid homemaker. She took great pride in her family and creating memories with her children and grandchildren; whether it was trips to Disney on Ice, or lunch dates, she enjoyed all the time she had with her family.

Peggy embraced her polish heritage and had a love for authentic polish dinner, especially duck soup. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, going on day trips, and loved watching Hallmark movies of all kinds. Peggy will especially be missed on her monthly lunch dates with her good friends, Mary Pat and Carolyn.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Audrey (Brad) Fankhauser, Jeff (Mary Jo) Bicanovsky, Debra (Tim) Floyd, and Stephen (Jen) Bicanovsky; Grandchildren Jordan, Austin, Jacob, Derek, Aaron, Morgan, Austin, Bailey, Spencer, Kenny, Devon; 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; 8 siblings, Joseph, Richard, Thomas, Albion, Franklin, Theodore Tucholski, Mary Durfy, and Rita Krieger.

In your memories of our beloved Peggy, please remember her words; "I love you, whatchamacallit, and that."
