Margaret Cecelia Adler, 100, of Oak Harbor, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Ottawa Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born on April 18, 1919 in Cleveland to William & Kathleen (McGuire) Runyon. Margie was one of 14 children; she was the fifth child born and the last to receive her angel wings. Margie married Howard Adler at the age of 18 he was 23 and he was the love of her life. They never had children of their own, but helped out with the many nieces and nephews through the years. Howies brother, Alexander Telatco and Margies sister ,Mildred, married. They had three children, Margie, Junie & Butchie who were truly very special and like their own children in many ways. Margie was dearly loved via so many wonderful family and friends. She also loved children, especially babies, they were what made her happy. She resided in the Cleveland area for most of her life, until the age of 91 when she moved to Venice, FL and resided with her great niece & nephew, Jamie and Chris Wurgler. At the age of 97, they moved back to Ohio and Margie then resided in Riverview Nursing Home. The staff all loved her and took wonderful care of Margie. Margie was always there to lend a hand and help out in any way she could. She enjoyed traveling with Howie and he played in a Band called the Corn Poppers. Margie enjoyed music, dancing and going out with her Howie. She was one truly beautiful, kind hearted, caring person who had the best heart ever. RIP Margie - you will be dearly missed by so many. Margie is preceded in death by her husband Howie, who she lost in 1979; her 14 siblings; and many nieces and nephews, who have gone on before her. Her wishes of no service of any kind will be honored by her family and loved ones. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home assisted Margies family.
