He is survived by his wife Cheryl Hand; seven daughters: Jennifer Schindler, Julie (Tony) Roth, Christina (Zachary) Newman, Ashley (Joshua) Wagner, Jessica (Dewi) Reyes, Stephanie (Abhishek) Samuelson, Melissa (Christopher) Toy; eight grandchildren: Brenden Hand, Aubree Schindler, Leah Schindler, Forrest Newman, Rory Roth, Cleopatra Wagner, Ayla Roth, Everett Samuelson; and brothers Randal Hand and Chris Hand.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Edna (Leroy) Baumeister and James Solomon Hand, and his youngest brother Michael Hand.
