Marcie Ann Essing

Marcie Ann Essing, born March 26, 1957, (64), of Toledo, Passed away peacefully on July 20, 2021, from her fight from cancer. Marcie worked as a baker at Kroger for 25 plus years, where she retired two years ago. Marcie was an avid Denver Broncos fan and loved to watch them and football in general every Sunday. Marcie loved the city of Chicago. Between family and friends, she frequented the city often via Amtrak. Marcie loved spending time with her grandchildren. Whether it be jamming out with her granddaughter, talking football with her one grandson, or just talking and joking with her other grandson. Marcie is survived by her daughters Hillary Hartford (Carl) and Tiffany Essing (Butch); her grandsons, Kevin and Jake; her granddaughter, Tori; her great-granddaughter Serenity; her sisters, Jacquelyn Scorziell (James) and Kathryn Weirich (Larry); her brother, Steve Koback (Marsha); and many nieces and nephews. Marcie was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Isabelle Koback; her brothers, David, Tony, and Kevin Koback; and her grandson, Steven. Marcie’s family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 2-8pm at the Walker Funeral Home – Oregon Chapel (3500 Navarre Ave, Oregon, OH 43616). A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, July 24, 2021, beginning at 11AM. Internment will immediately follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Perrysburg.
