Marcia Carolyn Schmeltzer

Marcia Carolyn Schmeltzer age 93 of Maumee, OH passed away on Monday, July, 17, 2017 at the Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve in Westlake, OH. She was born in Cleveland, OH on January 4, 1924 to Herman T. and Elizabeth (Heath) Betz. Marcia worked several years as a bookkeeper in the banking industry and also worked for the telephone company. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Toledo. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Schmeltzer, and siblings: Jack, Jane and Ted. Friends and family will be received at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4560 Glendale Ave., Toledo on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 2:00 PM until the time of services at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church or to a charity of choice. Arrangements by Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee.
