Marcia Ann Mullins aka Marcia, Marcia, Marcia, M and M, and Polish Beauty Queen, age 74, passed away on March 4, 2022. Zest in life and in death, she was a force to the very end. Her last inappropriate comment was on March 3, 2022. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 24, 1947 to Stanley and Marcella Wojcik.
Marcia attended Central Catholic Highschool, graduated from the University of Toledo, and went on to teach. Marcia changed careers and dedicated 40 years working for St. Vincent’s Mercy hospital. She married the love of her life, Ray and started a family, having three daughters. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and was always a loving supporter of their endeavors. The bonds she had with family and friends were foremost and constant.
Growing up Marcia loved the arts; music, dance and travel. She won multiple beauty contests and was crowned polka queen twice. Marcia loved people and had a magnetic personality. She had a rare childlike wonder and curiosity that lasted throughout her life. She would walk up to complete strangers and have conversations that could easily last hours. She was a very social being and loved to go out with her friends. She was an avid reader and scrabble player. She also enjoyed being in the sun, swimming and gardening. Marcia was treasured and loved by all who knew her. She was a devote catholic and she believed in miracles, and she would want all of you to know “your miracle is on the way.”
Marcia is survived by her three daughters, Marcella, Verna and Angela Mullins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond Mullins.
Family and friends will be received at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 4:00pm – 8:00pm. Visitation will continue at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 10:00am – 11:00am with a Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery, Rossford, Ohio. Donations can be made to the family or the
