Marcia Mrs. Meader

Marcia A. Meader, 90, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Aspen Grove Assisted Living Residence in Lambertville, MI. Marcia was born September 17, 1928 in Toledo to Clarence and Esther Mulholland.  She was a graduate of Ottawa Hills High School and received her BA from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. Marcia worked as a systems analyst for 30 years before retiring in 1997.  She was a skilled needlewoman and found great enjoyment in counted cross stitch and embroidery.  Marcia was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and the Junior League of Toledo. Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Meader; both parents; and sister, Kay Elrod.  She is survived by her younger sister, Pat Stichter; daughter, Melinda Cree; son, Robert Shannon; step-children, Shelly Walinski, Charles Meader, and Jeanine Philipinni; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) on Monday, August 5, 2019 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
