Marcia joined her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after passing-away peacefully on January 18, 2016 while in the loving care of the Glenmont Christian Science Care Facility in Hilliard (Columbus) Ohio at the age of 80. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 10, 1935 to Bernard B. Widmer and Winifred Widmer (Whistler). Marcia lived in Toledo most of her life but spent much time at Wampler’s Lake (Irish Hills, MI); she later moved to Camden, MI. Marcia graduated from Waite High School in 1953 and earned a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) from the University of Toledo in 1957 and maintained a prominent career as a pharmacist for many years. She had been active in numerous organizations throughout her life including Rainbow Girls, Order of the Eastern Star (Worthy Matron), Mortar Board, Delta Delta Delta sorority and many others. In 1959, Marcia married the love of her life, John Edward Judge, in the First Methodist Church of Clinton, MI. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Judge (Marcia Elaine), grandson Paul Patrisso (Stephanie), great grandchildren Olivia, Hadley and Barrett Patrisso, nieces Leslie Trudell (George), Laura Judge (Lisa Eaton), Cara Cosenza (Tim) and nephew Robert Judge, brother-in-law Thomas N. Judge (Margie), sister-in-law Nancy Judge, as well as numerous other friends and family who she loved dearly. Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother-in-law Charles Judge and niece Julia M. Judge. While employed as a pharmacist, Marcia had been diagnosed with a terminal affliction and advised by many experts within the medical community that she would not live past the age of 40. Already a very spiritual person, Marcia learned of the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy, founder of Christian Science. She abandoned all beliefs in medicine and became a devout Christian Scientist, dedicating her entire life to God. Marcia was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She had many favorite passages from the Bible but perhaps her most favorite was that of the Master: “Love one another as I have loved you”. Upon her request, no visitation or services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Walker Funeral Home, Toledo.
